Morocco’s energetic plan to power the desert

Morocco is buzzing with a new renewable energy scheme. The $9 billion project is set to pepper the desert outside the city of Ouarzazate with the worlds largest solar power plants, along with other renewables in a bid to power half the country with renewable energy by 2020. 

It’s a critical step in the right direction for a cleaner, more sustainable world into the future. You can expect more and more projects like this in the years to come.
